Living room furniture is one of the biggest purchases you will most likely make in your life, aside from a home and car, so it makes sense to buy pieces that will survive good usage and still look beautiful after many years have passed. Most people are clueless when it comes to understanding furniture construction and what makes a piece well made, but once you know what to look for, furniture shopping will be a snap! All you have to do is follow these rules:

Upholstery Furniture

Aside from color and style, which are usually the first two things people notice in a sofa or chair, what lies beneath the fabric is what really matters. High-quality frames are made from kiln-dried hardwood with double- or triple-dowelled joints that are corner-blocked, glued and screwed. This provides the best support structure for a sofa or chair.

In addition to the frame, the spring system is also important. It should offer firm support, but also provide enough comfort. Look for pieces with coil springs that are tied to the frame by hand in eight different places so that the support is as uniform as possible.

The back of upholstered furniture doesnt require as much support, so its perfectly acceptable if the back contains sinuous springs in a zigzag shape. As long as sinuous springs arent in the seat, consider the piece well constructed. In the seat, sinuous springs wont last as long because, over time, they lose the firmness that coil springs continue to provide.

Cushions are also something to consider before purchasing a sofa or chair. There are many different constructions and fillers used for cushions, so its important to know whats best for you, depending on your budget. Down filling is the most expensive its considered the best because it makes a loose, fluffy cushion that packs down easily. Another option is high-density foam. This material is also very good because its comfortable and provides long-lasting support. Often, foam is also wrapped in layers of soft material for more crown and, of course, softness.

Next, you need to think about fabric. Fabrics are made from both natural and synthetic fibers. You can even find fabric made up of a combination of both. Natural fibers include cotton, silk, and wool. Synthetic fibers are rayon, acrylic, polyester, olefin, and nylon.

Whether you select natural or man-made fibers for living room furniture is really up to you. Natural fibers are praised for feeling wonderful, while synthetic fibers are known for their durability and resistance to stains, although new manufacturing processes have resulted in natural fibers that can last a long time and repel stains better than before. At the same time, technological advances mean synthetic fabrics are becoming more comfortable.

Wood Furniture

The process of shopping for wood furniture has its own set of rules. Stability is a big concern when examining wood pieces. Look at what interests you and determine whether or not the piece is stable and strongly constructed. Wobbly or uneven pieces are a no-no. Anything that wobbles will fall apart faster, so if youre buying something new, this is something to watch for.

Next, look at the corners. If they are pressed together tightly, this is a good sign. If there are gaps where the wood comes together, be wary. For any type of wooden furniture, a high-quality piece needs to be solid, especially if youll be using it to hold electronics or other heavy items.

In fact, anything that will be used to hold heavy things, such as a television, needs to have tight braces. If you want to purchase something that will be holding valuables up off the floor, sturdiness is exceptionally important. Stay away from pieces that use nails because they can loosen over time and slide out of place. Find wood furniture that uses screws to keep the pieces together it will last many years.

Inspect drawers look for dovetail joints on the backs and fronts of the drawers. When wood is joined together in such a way, the piece will last a long time and remain sturdy through the years. A dovetail joint looks like your hands when they are held together with the fingers locked in place. The wood locks together for a very solid fit.

For wood tables with removable centerpieces, look for good support of the centerpiece. The centerpiece (or leaf) is what allows you to enlarge a table when guests come over to share a meal. The supports need to come from both sides of the table and on the sections of the table that are not removable. Also, make sure theyre glued into place.

Now that you know the basics of furniture construction, shopping for that next piece wont be such a daunting task. And you can rest assured that the living room furniture and other home furnishings you buy in the future will last a lifetime.

Traditional Treatments for Back Pain… Which Ones Work and Which Ones Don’t?

When Dorothy followed the yellow brick road, she was told to do so by those who wanted her to get where she wanted go. Well as humans when we blindly follow recommendations even by individuals who have good intentions, it may not always be your best option. So I’m preparing this article to compare and contrast what are known as traditional treatments vs. complementary or alternative treatments for back pain. Remember there is rarely only one reason for your back pain and almost never one silver bullet fix… you may need to try several approaches till you find what works for you.
So when reading this article and thinking back on your visits to medical professionals, did you have the big picture or were you just following that yellow brick road? If you have been down that road, or if you are just starting to suffer from back pain it’s never too late to seek out new and more encompassing information about your condition when trying to find a solution that works for you. Don’t say you’ve tried everything because you haven’t… your solution is out there and you just have to find it!
Orthopedic Care
One of the first places many people go when they experience back pain is the orthopedic specialist (surgeon) and a visit usually last 5-10 minutes. They will typically look at the problem/symptomatic area and often fail to look at the body as a whole. If you’ve been to an orthopedic specialist for your back pain, did they do a full body physical evaluation (takes 30 mins. or more)??? Not likely.
Here are some of the common treatments used / prescribed by orthopedic specialists:
Cortisone Shots
Cortisone is a catabolic steroid which is intended to reduce inflammation by killing off the tissue in the inflamed area… now let me ask you, does that make any sense to you at all?
Not only are these injections quite painful, but they rarely result in any pain relief and if they do it is short lived, usually 1-2 weeks if at all. Plus, it does NOTHING to identify or address the cause of the pain… it is only intended to treat the symptom. It’s for those reasons that we do not recommend them.
Click here for more information on The Best 8 Quiet Blenders of 2022 With 14 Delicious Recipes. Or click here if you’re looking for information on 23 Best Heavy Duty Degreasers for your HomeJust the name should scare you away… just like cortisone shots, anti-inflammatory medications do not identify or address the cause of your pain and for many people, they deliver little pain relief. These medications also deliver serious side effects! The main reason they are prescribed is money… and if you don’t believe me, do the research and you’ll see for yourself. The drug industry is huge and unfortunately, they have a huge influence on the whole medical community, including the doctors.
I challenge you to find a drug that will fix your back problem… you’ll be looking forever because there is no way a medication can fix a physical problem so avoid medications at all costs!
Back Surgery
Surgery for back pain is very common and more often than not, the individual still has pain afterwards (or it returns within weeks) and sometimes even new problems! Very rarely is a surgery the answer…
for example, many people have surgery for herniated discs. The logic behind the surgery is if you remove the piece/portion of the disc that is putting pressure on the nerve the problem is solved. Unfortunately, the same forces that forced that disc to protrude or bulge will likely force more of the disc out, or another disc out.
Surgery should always be the last resort… and even then I’d question it!
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is traditionally the next step after seeing an Orthopedic Doctor. That is if surgery is not recommended. So what should you expect? The process will start with an evaluation and here may be the start of the problem… here is why…. the doctor has to write a prescription with a diagnosis on it. You give the prescription to the PT and he or she will perform an evaluation… chances are the PT will simply confirm the diagnosis from the doctor, however the hope should be that they take the extra step to look for the root cause of your pain. They may but chances are they have several other clients in the office at the same time and simply do not have the time.
So without a comprehensive evaluation to identify the root cause of you pain they will simply treat your symptoms. We have just identified the second problem. The health care industry is required to show improvement with each and every session so the push is to reduce your symptoms to show progress in order for them to get paid. The long and short of it is that yes your pain can be reduced but the root cause rarely gets addressed, meaning that the pain and your suffering will return again and again.
So what should you do? When selecting a Physical Therapy office you may want to ask how many patients the office sees in a day and how many PTs they have on staff… then ask how many patients can a PT work with in an hour. Do not be surprised to hear that a PT can see up to three patients in an hour. That’s you and two others at the same time. Do you think you will get the attention and proper treatments you need? I doubt it.
There is a little joke in Physical Therapy when treating patients and it has to do with what course of modalities you will get. The joke is called Shake and Bake and it refers to everyone gets the same treatment protocol… that way it can be timed so that your PT can see other people simultaneously. What goes into a shake and bake treatment? It may start with a spin on a stationary bike or a trot a treadmill than you will get a 3 to 5 minute Ultrasound over the effected area followed by Electrical Stimulation to the area with a little Ice strapped to your body and to finish off your session you will get a hand out with exercises you should do at home. Certainly not a recipe for success!
Chiropractic Care
One of the most common treatments for back pain is Chiropractic Care. The approach consists of physical manipulations of bones and joints in an attempt to line things back up and it’s recommended typically 2-3 times per week.
The problem with this approach is that the same forces (muscles, tendons, and ligaments) will likely pull the bones and joints right back out of place again. Also, most (not all) chiropractors will spend 15 minutes with you if your lucky.
Ask people who see a chiropractor how long they’ve been going… I hear of people who have been going for 10-15 years and still don’t have a healthy back. Look, the fact is chiropractic care is lacking…
Unless the chiropractor combines the two approaches, it doesn’t make sense…
The ONLY way chiropractic care makes sense is if you are addressing the muscle imbalances that are pulling the bones and joints out of place to begin with and that requires strengthening and stretching exercises that are chosen specifically to correct your muscle imbalances.
Alternative Treatments for Treating and Eliminating Back Pain
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy, if done correctly can work wonders for people with back pain. This is not to say that it is the best choice and that it will work for everyone… however, most people will get great results from it if the massage therapist has a good understanding of muscle imbalances and how to work on them.
NOTE: Not all massage therapists are the same! Just like any profession, there are varying degrees of training and qualifications. When selecting a massage therapist please check to see if they are licensed and insured in the state where you will be seeing them. You should also ask the massage therapist if they have training in one of the following areas: Orthopedic massage, Medical massage, St. Johns technique and/or has a comprehensive knowledge of muscle imbalances relating to back pain. With that said the benefits are as follows. The root cause will be identified, your discomfort will be addressed and you root cause will be corrected all in an attempt to make you pain free and give you the tools you need to keep you that way. What to expect when you see a massage therapist.
All massage sessions are one on one allowing you the opportunity to converse with the therapist as well as get the attention you need to get results. You can ask questions about how you compare to other people. Feel free to ask the therapist what approach they will be taking so that you know what to expect. The massage therapist has many different techniques they can use when to dealing with you back pain and some are better than others. On the down side sometimes a therapist can get distracted with other problem areas, it is in your best interest to keep them focused on you back and associated problem areas. Like anything else you may need to try several different therapists before finding the one that works best for you and with you.
Post-rehabilitation Fitness Training
Another overlooked form of treatment that is very effective is post-rehabilitation fitness training. This includes targeted strength and flexibility work to correct / improve the individuals muscle imbalances. This service can only be performed by certified post-rehab fitness trainers and there are limitations to what they can do for you. For example, they can not diagnose a condition, prescribe any medications take x-rays, etc… however, if they are well trained they can pinpoint your muscle imbalances quickly and get you started on a fitness program that will restore balance to your body and likely eliminate your back pain.
Often times this can be combined with massage therapy and/or manual physical therapy for a total solution. If you decide to go this route, which I recommend you do, be sure to thoroughly check out the fitness trainer and ask to see their certification, insurance, references, etc.
Manual Physical (muscle) Therapy
Manual Physical Therapy is NOT the same as regular physical therapy… there are some major differences and here are just a few:
1. Manual therapy consists of hands on muscle work primarily whereas traditional physical therapy consists of heat, ice, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc
2. Manual therapist will typically perform a much more thorough physical evaluation
3. Manual therapists will usually be able to spend more time with each patient
4. Manual therapy is more holistic in it’s approach and focuses the body as a whole unit… something lacking from nearly all traditional treatments for back pain.
So before you say, “I’ve already tried physical therapy”… did you try manual physical therapy? They are two very different treatment approaches and I highly recommend you consider manual physical therapy.
Conclusion
As you can see traditional treatments are the main stay of modern medicine… not necessarily for the patients benefit, but it’s just how the system works best for itself. The system will not change until the system is confronted with a very powerful competitive force. That force may well be complementary or alternative care from the likes of Personal Trainers, Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, Manual Physical Therapists, and the like.
So that’s what we’ve tried to do… force change. The traditional treatments that people have been receiving for decades just doesn’t work, and we have found a combination approach that not only works the best, but it’s safe, natural, and inexpensive. Check out our “Lose the Back Pain” video now… it will show you how to identify the cause of your back pain and the show you the exact combination of steps to take to eliminate it.
If you have tried other treatments with little or no relief/improvement, you owe it to yourself to try this approach… so take charge of your health and get started now working towards not only a pain free back, but a healthy and balanced body! Only you can fix your back… all you need is the right approach!
Warning: This article is not intended to be medical advice however its intent is to make you a better, smatter and more informed client. The more you know and understand about your medical condition the better off you will be when it comes time to make the hard choices. As well as communicating with medical professionals…. believe me it will make a world of difference.

Titanium Dioxide: Toxic or Safe?

Titanium dioxide is the subject of new controversy, yet it is a substance as old as the earth itself. It is one of the top fifty chemicals produced worldwide. It is a white, opaque and naturally- occurring mineral found in two main forms: rutile and anatase. Both forms contain pure titanium dioxide that is bound to impurities. Titanium dioxide is chemically processed to remove these impurities, leaving the pure, white pigment available for use. Titanium dioxide has a variety of uses, as it is odorless and absorbent. This mineral can be found in many products, ranging from paint to food to cosmetics. In cosmetics, it serves several purposes. It is a white pigment, an opacifier and a sunscreen. Concern has arisen from studies that have pointed to titanium dioxide as a carcinogen and photocatalyst, thus creating fear in consumers. But are these claims true? What does the research on these allegations bear out? Would we as consumers benefit from avoiding this mineral to preserve our long-term health?
A carcinogen is a substance that causes a cellular malfunction, causing the cell to become cancerous and thus potentially lethal to the surrounding tissue and ultimately the body as these rapidly growing mutated cells take over. With the surge in cancer rates among all segments of the population, many people are attempting to reduce or eliminate their exposure to carcinogens. Titanium dioxide is regarded as an inert, non-toxic substance by many regulatory bodies such as the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and others charged with the responsibility of safeguarding the health of occupational workers and public health. The MSDS states that titanium dioxide can cause some lung fibrosis at fifty times the nuisance dust, defined by the US Department of Labor as 15 mg/m cubed (OSHA) or 10 mg/m cubed (ACGIH Threshold Limit Value). The ACGIH states that titanium dioxide is “not classifiable as a human carcinogen”. Symptoms of chronic overexposure to titanium dioxide in an industrial setting, according to the MSDS, include a “slight increase in lung tumour incidence in lab rats”. It also states “when titanium dioxide was fed to rats/mice in a carcinogen bioassay, it was not carcinogenic”. The NIOSH declares that at 5000 mg/m cubed there was slight lung fibrosis, concluding that this substance was carcinogenic in rats.
The NIOSH declaration of carcinogenicity in rats is based on a study by Lee, Trochimowicz & Reinhardt, “Pulmonary Response of Rats Exposed to Titanium Dioxide by Inhalation for Two Years” (1985). The authors of this study found that rats chronically exposed to excessive dust loading of 250 mg/m cubed and impaired clearance mechanisms within the rat, for six hours per day, five days per week for two years, developed slight lung tumours. They also noted that the biological relevance of this data to lung tumours in humans is negligible. It is important to note that rats are known to be an extremely sensitive species for developing tumours in the lungs when overloaded with poorly soluble, low toxicity dust particles. Rat lungs process particles very differently compared to larger mammals such as dogs, primates or humans (Warheit, 2004). This sensitivity in the lungs has not been observed in other rodent species such as mice or hamsters (Warheit, 2004), therefore using the rat model to determine carcinogenicity of titanium dioxide in humans can be misleading, as extrapolation of species-specific data to humans is erroneous.
Many organizations and businesses have perpetuated this assessment of the carcinogenicity of titanium dioxide (ewg.org). However, several studies and study reviews have been used to compile the safety disclaimers for the regulations on the permitted use of titanium dioxide. One such study review took place in Rome, 1969 between the World Health Organization and the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Cross species analyses were performed and reviewed for possible toxicity of titanium dioxide. The conference concluded that among the following species: rats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and human males, ingestion of titanium dioxide at varying diet percentages and over long periods of time did not cause absorption of this mineral. Titanium dioxide particulates were not detected in the blood, liver, kidney or urine and no adverse effects were noted from its ingestion. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (2002) allows for its ingestion, external application including the eye area, and considers it a safe substance for public health. Other epidemiological studies showed that workers exposed to titanium dioxide exhibited no statistically significant relationship between such exposure with lung cancer and respiratory disease, although some cases of pulmonary fibrosis did occur. These studies were conducted in industrial settings where the increased exposure puts these individuals more at risk than the average person.
Titanium dioxide is listed as a safe pigment, with no known adverse effects. It is not listed as a carcinogen, mutagen, teratogen, comedogen, toxin or as a trigger for contact dermatitis in any other safety regulatory publications beside the NIOSH (Antczak, 2001; Physical & Theoretical Chemical Laboratory, Oxford University respectively). It is reasonable to conclude then, that titanium dioxide is not a cancer-causing substance and is generally safe for use in foods, drugs, paints and cosmetics. This does not end the debate, however, as controversy over the safety of one unique form of titanium dioxide still exists.
One form of mineral or mineral extract, including titanium dioxide, that we should be concerned about is ultrafine or nano particles. As technology has advanced, so has its ability to take normal sized particles of minerals and reduce them to sizes never before imagined. While many are praising this new technology, others are warning of its inherent dangers to our bodies. A study by Churg et. al. at the University of British Columbia in their paper “Induction of Fibrogenic Mediators by Fine and Ultrafine Titanium Dioxide in Rat Tracheal Explants” (1999) found that ultrafine particles of the anatase form of titanium dioxide, which are less than 0.1 microns, are pathogenic or disease causing (see Table 1).

Kumazawa, et. al. in their study, “Effects of Titanium Ions and Particles on Neutrophil Function and Morphology” concluded that cytotoxicity (danger to the cell) was dependent on the particle size of titanium dioxide. The smaller the particle size, the more toxic it is (see Table 2). This conclusion is relevant to the consumer because of the cosmetics industry’s increasing use of micronized pigments in sunscreens and colour cosmetics. Nanoparticles of titanium dioxide are used in sunscreens because they are colourless at that size and still absorb ultraviolet light. Many cosmetic companies are capitalizing on metal oxide nanoparticles. We have seen, however, that if titanium dioxide particles used to act as a sunscreen are small enough, they can penetrate the cells, leading to photocatalysis within the cell, causing DNA damage after exposure to sunlight (Powell, et. al. 1996) The fear is that this could lead to cancer in the skin. Studies with subjects who applied sunscreens with micronized titanium dioxide daily for 2-4 weeks showed that the skin can absorb microfine particles. These particles were seen in the percutaneous layers of the skin under UV light. Coarse or fine particles of titanium dioxide are safe and effective at deflecting and absorbing UV light, protecting the skin, but consumers should avoid using products with micronized mineral pigments, either in sunscreens or colour cosmetics.
As with any health issue, relevant studies must be examined closely to reach balanced conclusions about its impact on our health and well-being. Often, risk determinations are made without considering actual hazards and real-life exposures (Warheit, 2004). The Organic Make-up Co., http://www.organicmakeup.ca, considers fine or coarse particle sized titanium dioxide and other mineral pigments to be safe according to the studies available and information discussed in this article. Despite repeated requests for micronized pigments in our colour cosmetics, we insist on using only coarse or fine particles of mineral pigments, balancing our need to look beautiful with our more pressing need to stay healthy. With the multitude of cosmetics and chemicals available to us, it is in our best interest to become informed as consumers and make pure, natural and simple choices to protect our health and longevity.

Put some life into your empty backyard and start enjoying the outdoors well before you have stepped outside your own house. Manicured garden or none, it really doesnt make a lot of difference. What does is the choice of furniture you have to make your back porch slightly more comfortable than what it used to be.

A well thought of patio furniture set will have you spend more time outside. Its best to make the most out of a day with just the right weather. Whether it is to start on that book youve always planned read or to simply enjoy a glass of lemonade over a nice chat, the right patio furniture will give you just that in comfort.

When choosing patio furniture, start thinking of your backyard as part of your living room (because it is!). However, when it comes to the choices of outdoor furniture, the choices become very narrow making you choose only between either the comfortable, but expensive to the cheap back-breaker.

Fortunately, nowadays, furniture makers have started to manufacture very affordable yet comfortable patio furniture. Your choices have expanded and here is a run through of what is available to you now.

Comfort
More outdoor furniture is now made with comfort features like cushions and soft fabric. The once hard angles that are bad for the backs have been changed and are now designed to support your back. There are even patio chairs now that come with matching footrests.

Care must be taken though with these cushions particularly those with springs so avoid getting them wet with rain and dew. It is best to put them in a sheltered area. Some maintenance might be necessary with the upholstery. But more often than not, just frequent dusting is all you need.

Movement
To enjoy the outdoors, youd want to rock, roll and recline. And todays patio furniture can do just that and more. Remember those bar carts, which were used to serve meals outdoors? They are back with a vengeance. New space-saving accordion tables that expand as your seating grows are available as well.

Portability is also a key feature with patio furniture design. Pieces, like portable and foldable screens, become essential to someone like you who wants privacy while at the same time the flexibility to create separate smaller areas within a large one.

Materials
You no longer have to sacrifice the beauty of expensive wood over the price of tack plastic. Nowadays, patio furniture makers have combined these materials and many more to create beautiful but inexpensive pieces that are durable and comfortable as well.

Design
If something chic and contemporary is your flavor, current patio furniture collections can deliver just that. You dont have to settle for the bulky picnic table and can actually choose from a variety of modern and sleek designs.

Patio furniture when selected well will not only be stylish, it will also be comfortable and durable. When taking the attitude of buying outdoor furniture, it would be best to make the investment on what would feel and look good over what is cheap, but tacky and uncomfortable.

The styles available today can range from the classic to the contemporary. Just make sure that your choice of patio furniture works well with the rest of your house. It is certain that you will find just the right combination of comfort, price and style if you just take the time to find it. This, after all, is part of the investment you are making. And if you do just that, youll be glad you did as you sip that cold lemonade on that perfect summer day.

Tinnitus: Learning to Ignore a Nuisance

That may sound darn right rude but that’s all it is. A nuisance.
Tinnitus is nothing but a nuisance, which interrupts your daily routine by driving you up the wall.
Ever asked why it’s driving you up the wall?
Once again, the answer is so simple. It’s because you let it do so. Anyone with tinnitus will know what I am saying when you find yourself in the middle of some quality time. I mean, your having a real ball when all the sudden something (or someone) makes you want to notice this sound in your head. Think about it. Whilst you were having fun, I’m sure you didn’t notice it at all. Not the slightest. This is because your mind was distracted. You were focusing on something else other than your Tinnitus.
And this is what you should be doing.
Focusing on something else OTHER than trying to concentrate on your own tinnitus.
Ever had a badly cut finger? When you think about it, it throbs and hurts and is painful. If you were distracted though, you would most probably forget the discomfort because your brain is trained to ignore pain if it can. This is what we call basic instinct.
Have you ever studied children? They fall over, they hurt themselves, and they freak out if they see their blood. But let’s admit it people, as soon as you give them a candy bar they light up like a candle and forget the pain. This is because children are motivated mostly by instinct. As long as the kid is happy and occupied, he won’t feel the pain. The minute you take his candy bar away and give him time to think about his wound, he’ll start crying because he feels the pain again.

It is possible to distract attention away from negative energy. This is all Tinnitus is. It’s negative energy and it can be ignored. This is not a process that can be picked up in ten minutes. It doesn’t have to be learnt either because your brain already knows how to ignore things that’s are not important to us.
It is vital that you understand this because it is the basis to understanding that you understand what you are doing wrong each time you listen and hear your own Tinnitus.
You brain will always try focus on what is important. Tinnitus isn’t important and you have to learn to put it aside. Imagine putting it in a box and closing it. Or try this, each time your brain is trying to make you aware of Tinnitus, just tell it, ” I have other things on my mind at the moment…. get out of here or come back later…I may have time for you then “.
I can remember jogging through the forest not too long ago. Since loosing almost 20 kilos in weight, jogging was something that made me feel real happy. It was like a scene from a fairy tale. It was December and it was snowing. Through the snow I could still see the sun trying to shine through the thick gray clouds. The snowflakes were dancing all around me. The whole forest was glowing like white gold. Through my MP3 player, I was listening to my favorite music. Everything seemed so safe and tranquil………until I noticed my Tinnitus creeping up behind me and trying to make itself noticed. I could here it screaming away in the back of my head. It was trying to provoke me and take away the fun I was having.
I think this was the first time in 3 years that actually remember saying NO to it. “Enough is enough,” I said. “. I’m having a great time, I feel fantastic and you are not going to ruin this moment for me “. I remember running faster and faster and feeling better each step I took. I didn’t stop for Tinnitus and I didn’t let it ruin my day. At this point it was making me stronger. This sounds quite unbelievable, but I ended up running the course twice which I had never done before. When I finished the course I was the happiest man alive I swear to God. It was the first time I realized that I was the problem and not the Tinnitus. The tinnitus is there whether I want it or not. I have to live with that fact. I am now ready to accept that fact.
So, what are my options?
I can suffer, feel sorry for myself and have spend the rest of my life in misery OR learn to accept Tinnitus and learn to coexist with it and ignore it when I feel like it.
Sounds all too easy I know.
That’s where you come in though my friend. It’s entirely up to you. No pills, injections or secret remedies are going to get rid of your Tinnitus. Know why? Because there aren’t any.
So, if you can learn to finely tune your “basic instinct” and teach yourself to ignore the stuff that bothers you………….You are on the right train.
Have a happy journey!
